EuroMobi and John van Zuylen, where it all began!

John van Zuylen, a man with a passion for his job, at the service of his customers!

In 2019, EuroMobi was born. It's run by the team at Atypic Concept, a company specialising in party equipment hire, and a client of John's.

And that's where it all started! 

John Van Zuylen has an unrivalled knowledge of furniture for HoReCa, administrations and local authorities. From the quality of the tabletop for a stand-up table to the foot caps for a folding chair, John is a veritable encyclopaedia!

In April 2024, the Municipalia trade fair is coming up, and EuroMobi is taking part, much to John's delight.

He put his heart and soul into the project, preparing the stand plan on paper and building a 1:1 scale model in front of his home!

Every detail was taken into account.

Unfortunately, just a few days before the event, John was rushed to hospital and underwent an operation the day before the show opened.

Even in his hospital bed, he continued to work, making phone calls and complaining that the WiFi wasn't working properly. He woke up in the night wondering if everything was going to be all right on the stand... until the end, his job would be his great passion!

Complications meant he never left hospital again.

John van Zuylen passed away at 10am on Monday 22 April 2024, leaving behind his wife and three children.

We will miss your knowledge and your strong character, but also your kindness and goodwill.

Goodbye John, our mentor.  And thank you for everything...
